"Take Pride"

She was born to bring pleasure to those in need
Of a wonderful trip without hurry or speed
Carefully planned with her gangways wide
And cabins designed to let wheelchairs inside
Her windows are large, so that those who can see,
See the canal side beauty that God gives free
A galley on board to provide nice hot meals
For those confined to chairs on wheels
With shower and toilet and handwash too
And plenty of space in this special "loo"
I thank all those people with the vision to see
What a huge success Pride of Sefton would be
My admiration I just can't hide
When I tell people about the magnificent "Pride"
So please have a trip, I hope that you do
And leave all the rest to Frank and his crew
